Peach State Games started with a simple idea: Woodstock deserved a game store that felt like home. Here's how we got here.
From the kitchen table to Highway 92
Before Peach State Games had a storefront, it had a kitchen table. Jason and Joslyn spent years as regulars at game stores across metro Atlanta — shuffling decks, slinging spells, and building friendships one Commander pod at a time. But they kept running into the same frustration: too many stores treated the community as an afterthought.
They wanted to build something different. A shop where the staff actually plays the games they sell. Where a first-timer asking "what's Commander?" gets a patient explanation instead of a blank stare. Where the space is clean, the prices are fair, and nobody feels like they don't belong.
So in 2022, they signed a lease in the Woodstock Square Shopping Center, filled the shelves with Magic, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! singles, and opened the doors to what would become one of the highest-rated game stores in Georgia.

Events nearly every night of the week. Free Commander on Tuesdays and Fridays. We exist because you show up.

Competitive pricing on sealed product and singles. Buy limits on hot releases so resellers don't clean us out.

Soft lighting, organized shelves, snacks, coffee, and cold beer. A space you'd actually want to spend hours in.
Milestones
How we got here
2022
Doors open at 10010 Hwy 92, Suite 110 in Woodstock. First events are Magic and Pokemon nights with a handful of regulars.
2022–2023
The community grows. Weekly events expand to include One Piece, Lorcana, and Warhammer. Player counts double, then double again.
2023
WPN Premium status earned — the highest tier of Wizards of the Coast's retail program. Exclusive events, early access product, and recognition as one of the best Magic stores in the region.
2024
New games, new nights. Star Wars Unlimited, Union Arena, and Gundam join the weekly schedule. Monthly rotating events launch — from Chaos Drafts to miniature paint nights.
2025–Today
Still growing. Membership program, expanded buylist, League of Legends Riftbound events, and a community of hundreds who call PSG home.

The people behind the counter
Peach State Games is owned and operated by Jason and Joslyn, with help from a small crew of dedicated staff who are just as passionate about the games as you are. You'll often find Jason behind the counter sorting singles, Joslyn keeping the events running on schedule, and the rest of the team ready to help you find what you need — or recommend what you didn't know you wanted.
